Mini Pecan Tarts

RECIPE:

Makes 18 mini tarts.

Here’s what you need-
Filling:
– ½ cup sugar
– 2 ½ Tbsp of Unsalted Butter
– ¾ cup chopped pecans
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Tart Shell:
– 5 ½ Tbsp of Unsalted Butter
– 3 oz. Cream cheese
– 1 cup all purpose flour

Filling Instructions:
Use hand mixer, mix unsalted butter and sugar together. Add chopped pecans and vanilla extract and stir thoroughly.

Tart Shells Instructions:
Using hand mixer, blend cream cheese and unsalted butter together. Add flour and continue with the mixer until the dough looks like popcorn. Stop mixer and use hands to knead the dough. Roll each piece by hand into a ball and flatten. Shape each to fit the mini muffin pan. Fill tart and bake.

Baking instructions:
Preheat oven to 375º F. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove and let it cool in the mini muffin pan for 5 – 10 minutes. Remove from pan and serve warm.
