Pokemon Go & Mental Health | Kati Morton
Since so many of you have been talking about Pokemon Go and how much you love it, I decided to start looking into it. Turns out, it can actually be good for your mental health! Surprise! It gets those of us who may stay indoors all day playing video games or watching YouTube out in the world. We get dressed, we walk long distances and we interact IRL with other people playing the same game! Many have reported that it has helped them with their depression and social anxiety. Although I don’t believe this game to be a “cure all” or anything like that, I have to agree that having a motivator like this game, that gets us up and out each and every day is great! On a side note, please be careful. Be aware of your surroundings and don’t interact with people who seem off or a bit creepy to you. Safety first! I hope you enjoyed this video and keep catching those Pokemons.. or whatever it is you do in that game. xox
